Co-curated with Merola Artistic Director Carrie-Ann Matheson, this recital was an array of songs that explored the many facets of transformation. At a tumultuous time in the world, this recital focused on themes of change and growth with songs from Alma Mahler, Samuel Barber, Aaron Copland, Robert Owens, Florence Price, and many others. The illuminating program traced a journey from desolation to hope.
