DAY OFF

I almost didn’t get this post in today.

This week was a busy one, filled with tasks and preparations for this weekend’s Winter Lieder Lounge broadcast, and I allowed myself the luxury of a lazy day off today. I spent the morning watching a movie, followed by a long nap. This evening was an outdoor family night in my brother and sister-in-law’s backyard just south of San Francisco. After watching my niece and nephew run around in their backyard play area for a little bit (having to maintain social distance from them is torture, because they are so cute), we had a delicious dinner under, and then capped the evening off with an outdoor movie under the heat lamps.

Amidst all the luxurious lazing about and relaxing, I almost forgot about my challenge…
